Meredith Huddle joined ASTA in October 2021 and serves as the association’s Communications Manager. Meredith supports ASTA’s strategic objectives by leading public relations and marketing efforts for advocacy initiatives, membership programs, and meetings and events. Meredith manages ASTA’s website and communications channels, including social media, email campaigns, and the FYI ASTA newsletter. She regularly works with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to identify and develop new content.

Prior to joining ASTA, Meredith served in several roles adjacent to Congress and the executive branch. She advised non-profits, coalitions, lawmakers, and public servants on strategic communications, digital marketing, social media advocacy, and branding. Meredith has a strong background in the crossroads of government relations and communications and is capable of distilling highly complex issues and content into simple, easily digestible messages.

Meredith studied at Virginia Tech and lives in Washington, DC with her cat, Uma (Meredith is a fan of actress Uma Thurman and lauds “Kill Bill” as her favorite film). She enjoys traveling, reading, and trying new recipes in her free time. She’s also an avid tennis player and enjoys the many fitness opportunities DC has to offer.
