FDA Facility Registration Renewal Required by December 31st

FSMA requires all domestic and foreign food facilities that manufacture, process, pack or hold food for consumption in the U.S. to renew their registrations with FDA. Re-registration of all food facilities with FDA is required every two years and opens on October 1, 2016. Please note that you will need to register this year by the December 31, 2016 deadline. Facilities that do not renew registration will be considered expired and removed from the system on January 1, 2017.  ASTA members read more about this in the September edition of ASTA Advocate.
