Flexibility and Outcome-focused Regulations Key to Food Defense

ASTA submitted comments to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) proposed rule on food defense and intentional adulteration. The FDA proposal would require registered domestic and foreign food facilities to address hazards that may be intentionally introduced by acts of terrorism.
